Multi-point Security Locking System

The new Cobra-T Multi-point locking system from Winkhaus is the latest development in the renowned STV range of locking systems especially developed for all door material types.

The Cobra-T Multi-point locking system has up to 10 locking points and all systems are available as lever operated, key operated or Split follower with latch withdrawal by key only on the outside.

1. 25mm throw solid brass Cobra-T fangs:

High security solid forged brass and nickel plated "fangs" fully penetrate the keep rail and help prevent forcing apart of the sash and frame.

2. Weather seal compression adjustment in the keeps:

Together with the enhanced tapered "fang" design the adjustment in the keep provides for low operating forces. With ± 2mm adjustment it is possible to adjust for misalignment of the door during and after installation.

3. Continuous steel keep rail:

The continuous 26mm wide keep rail effectively helps reinforce the outer frame. Manufactured using high grade steel and plated to comply with the highest Grade 4 corrosion resistance requirement of BS EN 1670 European Standard.

4. Latch and Deadbolt:

Nickel plated sprung latch with 16mm or 20mm throw nickel steel deadbolt provides the Cobra-T with maximum strength in the centre of the door.

5. High performance gearbox:

Designed to comply with the latest requirements of PAS23 and PAS24 for Enhanced security door sets. The gearbox offers the lowest possible operating force performance but with increased security to comply with the Police Secured By Design requirements. Tested to 100,000 cycles the Cobra-T Multi Point Lock is available with a 10 YEAR WARRANTY.

6. Cylinders and handles:

The Cobra-T Multi-Point Lock has been designed to harmonise with the Winkhaus range of Security profile cylinders and is compatible with industry standard handles. A special Winkhaus designed Palladio-T handle adds a touch of sophistication for homes of distinction.

Special key bow designs, turn knobs and key pistol grips for the disabled together with extended lever furniture are available to assist the elderly and infirm.

Knocker, Letterplate, Handle Components and Door Hinges

The ERA Security Hinge offers a low cost alternative to hinge bolts, giving added security on outward opening external doors where hinges are exposed. The integral security bolts prevent the door being forced off its hinges.
